SAFSRA Project - Restoration 
SAMFS Shand Mason .

Below is an update regarding our planned project for members to be involved with in the restoration of the Adelaide Station Shand Mason from John Johnson.

Hi all retired members,

We have been asked to defer the restoration of the Shand Mason.

The north-eastern end of Headquarters is to be reconfigured to enable a new access to the basement car park along the eastern boundary and an improved firefighter memorial and reflection area.

The current home of the Shand Mason will be included in the upgrade and when the works begin, the Shand Mason will need to be relocated.

When this occurs, we will commence to restore it so that it will be in pristine condition when it is put in its new home.
