There will be a Memorial Service on the 26th of April 2024 at 11am on dock 2 at Port Adelaide, the location of the incident.
The City of Adelaide Clipper is currently docked there. Dock 2, Honey St, Port Adelaide (extension of Ocean Steamers Rd)
There is plenty of parking in the area.
MFS appliances will be attending along with relatives of the 3 Firefighters who tragically lost their lives.
Crews from the Gallantry and the Archie Badenoch are scheduled to participate in the ceremony as well.
With support from the Fire Service Fund, The Firefighters Club and the United Firefighters Union a plaque has been commissioned and will be unveiled to be permanently fixed at the site remembering these brave personnel.
This is a very important event in the history of our fire service, so we hope to see a big turnout of current serving and retired members.
It's important not to forget these fellow firefighters who were killed and injured.
There will be light refreshments on site and then why not have lunch with our mates in various locations around the Port afterwards.
Please come along with your friends and support this event.
