NOTICE TO MEMBERS -
PASSING OF JEFF TURNER OAM

We are deeply saddened to inform members of the passing of Jeff Turner this morning 0615, 11 November 2023.

Jeffrey Walter Turner OAM 05-09-1941 to 11-11-2023 aged 82
retired Superintendent [Acting Assistant Chief Fire Officer]

Jeff will be remembered as a stalwart of the of the Fire Service, as a trainer, educator, historian, mentor, comedian, practical joker and all round nice bloke.
Most of all I think we will miss him from our SAFSRA group with his stories his smile and that fantastic laugh.

Our deepest sympathies go to the Turner family, especially Sarah who has been spending much of her time caring for Jeff, making sure he attends our monthly luncheons and keep his red wine up to him.

SAFSRA sends its deepest heartfelt condolences to Sarah and the Turner family.

The Funeral will be held at Tanunda Lutheran home 27 Bridge St, Tanunda SA in about 2 weeks.
