The attention of all staff is directed to the passing of –:

James Harold Hewitt ID 1362
“Dasher” / “Jim”
DOB -: 30th March 1944

James joined SAMFS on Monday 18th October 1971 and
retired on Wednesday 11th April 1990.
James served SAMFS as a Firefighter on D Shift having
completed time at Adelaide Station for two periods and also at
Glynde, Elizabeth, Gepps Cross and Northfield Stations.
James passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on
Tuesday 12th October 2021.

COVID Restrictions apply, Masks are mandatory and COVID sign in or QR Code is essential, Maximum attendees are limited to 150 persons.
Funeral details are as follows:

Date: Friday 22nd
October 2021
Time: 1400 Hours
Venue: Harrison Funerals
63 Golden Grove Road
Ridgehaven SA 5097

All Operational MFS personnel attending the funeral service are advised to wear dress of the day including medals cap and tie. Soft shell jackets if required.
