Invite to the 2022 Children's Christmas Party

Dear SAMFS Retiree,

The Firefighters’ Club would like to extend a warm invitation for you to join us for the Annual Children’s Christmas Party, to be held at SAMFS Adelaide Station on Tuesday 13th December 2022 between 11.30 am to 3.00 pm. 

We wish to encourage retired members of the SAMFS to retain a connection with this Fire Service tradition. With the exception of cancellations due to COVID over the last few years, the Children’s Christmas Party has been part of the Fire Service scene for many generations. 

You are most welcome to attend the Christmas Party with your partner and/or family, and if you have grandchildren under the age of 12 years, you might like to consider registering them to accompany you. The registration form is included. 

Alternatively, if you would like to come along and contribute for the day, we would welcome your involvement in cooking or serving the BBQ, serving cool drinks or ice creams. Otherwise just take the opportunity to catch up with other retirees or serving members of the SAMFS.

We also sponsor children from charitable organisations to attend our Christmas Party. This year we have invited children from the Smith Family Foundation, Minda and Junction Australia, as well as families of crash survivors that support the SAMFS Road Accident Program (RAP). Even if you are unable to attend the event, you might like to consider sponsoring one or more of these children and their families to attend our party for a very memorable day. Your donation can be processed through the Fire Service Credit Union using the enclosed registration form.

We hope that you would like to become involved in this very special annual event and look forward to catching up with you at the Christmas Party.
