PLEASE NOTE DUE SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
THE FAMILY HAS CHANGED THE DATE OF THE
FUNERAL TO:

WEDNESDAY 31 MAY 2023 at 1030.

The family has also informed that there will be a viewing of the coffin from
1000 hours.

It is with heavy hearts that we come together to mourn the passing of our
esteemed colleague, Kevin Merritt.

D.O.B: 25/08/1934 Joined: 15/10/63 Retired: 04/07/90

Kevin's dedication to the fire service spanned almost 27 years.

Kevin peacefully passed on Tuesday, 16th May 2023, surrounded by family
at the Calvary Central Districts Hospice after a long illness.

As we reflect upon Kevin's career and the impact he made, we invite those of
you who wish to share your memories and stories of Kevin to join us during
his funeral service.

in the service and honour Kevin through your words.

Additionally, we kindly request the presence of all attending past and present
Fire Service personnel to form a guard-of-honour at the conclusion of the
service.

This final tribute will pay homage to Kevin's commitment and service,
symbolising our gratitude and respect for his contributions.

Let us remember Kevin Merritt not only for his professional accomplishments but also for the friendships and camaraderie he shared with us throughout the years.

Together, let us celebrate his life, honour his memory, and offer our heartfelt
