The attention of all staff is directed to the passing of –:
Retired Superintendent Jeffrey Walter Turner
SAMFS ID 1253
Age 82 Years

Jeffery joined SAMFS on Tuesday the 3rd of January 1967
and retired on Friday the 8th of January 1993.
Jeffrey served SAMFS at Adelaide, Port Adelaide, and Glen
Osmond Stations and in Fire Training and Staff Officer.
Jeffery obtained the rank of S/F on the 24/02/1973, S/O (D) on the 20/09/1973, S/O (C) on the 22/01/1976, S/O (A) on the 23/03/1978, D/O on the 29/10/1984 and the Superintendent on the 14/12/1988.

Jeffery passed away peacefully on the 11th of November 2023 surrounded by his family who invite you to attend the celebration of his life.

To assist you in attending the celebration of Jeffrey’s life, a bus will be leaving Adelaide Station at 0730 hours, then for a pickup at Salisbury Station to then leave for Tanunda at 0830 hours.

Returning via Salisbury Station and then Adelaide Station, if you wish to be
transported by bus, please contact the Employee Support Coordinator to reserve your seat.
