Passing of Gerald "Jack" Linnett



SAFSRA is deeply saddened to inform members of the passing of our comrade Gerald “Jack” Linnett.

Jack had been facing significant health challenges and, sadly, passed away on 7 March 2026 in his hometown of Victor Harbor.

The Linnett family have expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the thoughts, support, and well wishes offered during this difficult period.

To Jack’s wife Maralyn and son Justin, we extend our sincere and heartfelt condolences. Our thoughts are with you as you navigate this time of loss.

The family has advised that a private funeral will be held.
