100 Year Remembrance & Plaque
Dedication City of Singapore Fire - Youtube clip - The story on the fire. 

S.S. City of Singapore – ship fire and explosion occurred on the 26th of April 1924, 100 years ago. 

There will be a Memorial Service on the 26th of April 2024 at 11am
on dock 2 at Port Adelaide, the location of the incident.

The City of Adelaide Clipper is currently docked there.
Dock 2, Honey St, Port Adelaide (extension of Ocean Steamers Rd) 

Please come along with your friends and support this event.

It would be fitting for members to wear medals.

Attached is a YouTube clip on the story of the City of Singapore Fire and Firefighter Albert Greenman.

The story is presented  by David Sweet and the voice of Joe Pitzo who survived the explosion.
